I hate this idea that doing your best means that you will beat everyone else......

I was watching the news this morning, and they were talking about how Phelps must have made a mistake because he got a silver medal...
In my mind, that has NOTHING to do with it!! If ANYone does something, does their best, does better then they ever have before, without any mistakes. It's still possible for someone else to do better. It has nothing to do with making a mistake... On either party...

The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor.

Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.
