So, a friend of mine drew this. No, it wasn't me... I wish I could draw this well. >.<>Anywhoodle, it was just too cute/funny to keep to myself. ^.^

I forget how this got started, but we were talking and got started on third arms and how they're not as handy as you might think. (Schmetter's joke, not mine. Blame him) So she drew me this. ^.^

As far as the mushrooms... It's one of those friendly mushrooms that grow beneath your fridge. You know, those green glowy ones? Yeah, those. ^.^ Good with teriyaki sauce.

Cake+Ice.Cream=no likey

Oohohoh!! I know what I was going to say!! (I just posted the previous post. I assume it says I posted it Wed because I think I started it on Wed... *shrug*)

Randome note about me: I am the only person that I know of that doesn't like ice cream with their cake.

I like ice cream.
I like cake (not terribly fond of icing, but I've found other people who also don't).
I don't like them to mix. I'll have them at the same time, like at a party, but I don't like them to mix. >.<

Anywoodle, I've had a few random thoughts, and I thought I'd share. ^.^


First off, I was reading in my scriptures the other day and came across something I found to be interesting.

Ether 3:18 "...and all this, that this man might know that he was God..."

I found that a real cool statement. Right now God is talking to the brother of Jared, later showing him everything that God has ever made, all so that this man can know that he is God.
This man! All so that this little insignificant mortal with a measly lifespan of less then 100 years, can know that there is a God and that He is him. ... Wow... And it stands to reason that he can't just care about the brother of Jared alone. We are all his children, and he wants all of us to know that He is.
"...and all this, that [you] might know that he is God..."

Um... what else have I been pondering in my little brain... Brain? BraaAAAAIIIIiiiin... aaaaiiin... aaaiiinnn.... aiiiin.... n....

Well, I did come across a cool music group that I like. ^.^ ESposthumus. They kinda sound like if you mixed Lesiem(the pictures scare me, but the music is good) with Audiomachine. Two other groups I like. They all have a... I guess you would call it a new age feel. Audiomachine does songs for trailers, Spiderman and such, so like that. So me likey.

And... yeah... woof, or something... I know I had more to say, but I can't think of it. >.<

Equality

Huh... Reading other blogs and about other people's strifes of life... Interesting stuff...

We're all so darn human. We all have our struggles. And what really boggles me is that we have a lot of the same struggles. Person A felt pressure to grow up three years ago while person B was trying to figure out how to apply makeup. Well, tomorrow B will be forced into a situation where they need to be mature, and A has a date and doesn't know how to put blush on.

I'm amazed how often our trials and problems match someone else's. The timing may be different, I know it's been that way for me, but we all pretty much deal with the same things.

Stress, annoyance, discouragement, family, death, temptation... We all deal with it, it's just a matter of when.

Y'know... I think God knew what he was doing when he sent all us down here... Who'd a thunk it!

Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance

I'd never heard of this before my dad told me about it. But I watched it and thought it was very...poignant.

It's especially interesting to me at the end where he says that "wouldn't it be sad if 'Under God' was taken out of the pledge" >.<

Accidental brilliance

I've been meaning to blog more... really... >.< I just never manage to get around to it...

Anyway, I was having a conversation with some friends today, and we were comparing heights. Now, I am short. There is no hiding it, just a fact of life. Well, we were talking about tall people... Those pesky scourges that walk among us. (You know who you are... ;P)

And I was saying, "Yeah... Sometimes you just have the genes. And sometimes you have the shorts."

And I didn't realize what I'd said until Lola started laughing. So I just had to share, 'cause I thought it was funny. ^.^
