Tater Tot ^.^

Soon... Hopefully tomorrow, I'll have a real post with a real thought in it... But for now... ^.^;

I went to institute today, and fell in love with the cutest face! >.<

Her name is Tater tot. ^.^ She's hairless, and she's half Chinese Cresent and half Hairless Chiwawa. And just adorable!! >.<

I must say, it was interesting petting a hairless dog... I've seen them on TV, but never in real life. It was a bit like petting your eye lid. That sorta loose, not quite soft feel...

...

Ok, admit it... How many of you touched your eye lid? ^.~

Anyway, she was just too cute!! So I had to share. ^.^

Thoughts on a fuzzy grape

It's always interesting what will catch my attention and make me want to post... Today it was a moldy grape.

We had a bag of grapes in our fridge. Most were ok, they looked fine. One was totally white, fuzzy, bad. But none of the ones around it were bad...? Or at least looked bad.

And that caught my attention. Now, we're always told "don't be around bad people, 'cause they'll influence you in bad ways" Or something like that... I really need to find another word then 'bad', but you get the idea.

And so that leads us to the grapes. The fuzzy white one was obviously bad. No doubt how that one will be judged at the last day. But what about the others around it? The ones touching it? They didn't look bad at all. They looked perfectly fine. They're good church members that can handle being friends with a moldy grape! You can't tell them what to do! It's their life!!!1

But they're contaminated. They may not show any signs of being moldy... yet. But they've been touching mold. Now, they could wash themselves, take a bath in peroxide of the spirit, and probably leave not too worse for wear. That won't protect them from future mold, but it will get rid of what's there now.

But if they don't wash and get out, they're going to get moldy.

Heck, even if they do get out, they're still contaminated. They've touched the mold. They've been in the same bag/area as the mold. Even if they get away from the mold, if they don't wash they're carrying the mold with them, and if left un-checked, they will get moldy!

So wash yourselfs all you fruity people out there! >.<

So... yeah... All that from finding a moldy grape. ^.^

Good=hard? Bad=easy?

Why is it that we avoid things that are good for us?

Doctors, dentists, health food, confessing when we've done something wrong, being normal... No wait, being normal is bad. ^.~

But I've just been thinking how normally we, as people, avoid a lot of things that can be good for us, and do a lot of the things that are bad for us.

It's probably just that it's the hard thing. The good thing is usually the hard thing, and the bad thing is usually easier... Interesting how that works...

So yeah, thought of the day. ^.^

On relationships

>.O Now... I'm way the wrong person to ask about relationships with the opposite gender, in this case guys... I've never had a boyfriend, or even a second date...

But that doesn't stop me from talking about it. ^.^

Now, normally I wouldn't be talking about it even then. I like keeping the subject away from me with a ten foot pole... But I was talking to a friend of mine who's having some guy troubles and as I was talking to her, I struck upon an idea that I thought was cool.

Relationships take two people... You can have a good relationship with another person, without the other person.

Yes, be amazed at my wisdom. ^.~ It seems quite simple, but (at least for me) it took a while to learn... We all have that perfect guy/girl that we like a lot. He/she is perfect. They're cute, have a great personality, *insert perfect quality here*, etc. What's not to like?

You care for this person a great deal. So everything should work out great, right?

Right?

... maybe...

It takes two. No matter how much you care about/fawn over the other person. You can't make them care for you. You can make it easier, but you can't make them. Lol. Just like Genie said in Aladdin, "I cant' make people fall in love with you."

Plus you can't bring people back from the dead...
It's not a pretty picture.
I don't like doing it!!
^.~

So, that be my words of wisdom for today! ^.^

The crumbling difference between right and wrong

I'm gunna steal a page out of St. Genesius (btw, I just got that! ... Yeah, so... :P brat...) and name this post after a line from a song. Counting Crows I think... that is if I got the line right... >.O

Anyway... I am not dead!! >.< ... for cereal... Yeah, I've been really busy with school work and stuff, and have had no time for anything fun... So my poor Blog has been very neglected...
T_T Poor Bloggy... It's ok. Mommy's here. Awh... Yeah, that's a good little bloggy. Good bloggy! Who's a good bloggy? That's right! You're a good bloggy! ^.^

*ahem* Well, I've been thinking about the world. There's a whole lot of bad stuff that happens in it! And not just the earthquakes and natural disasters, but what people do to other people... It's really sad...

But on that same token, there's a whole lot of good out there too. For example, I was at Institute class this past Wed (a scripture class on weekdays, quite fun really) and I saw something cool. ^.^

Last Wed in class a person in the front of the class fainted. Right in the middle of class. He's fine, but it was kinda scary. O.o; But anyway, without being asked, the teacher and about 5 teenage guys got up and helped how they could. It was really cool to see. ^.^

Now, noted, these are guys in a church-ish meeting, and no one's making them come, so they're the cream of the crop... But still! They got up and started helping without any prodding or asking!

There is hope in the world!!!

So yeah... I thought that was very cool. ^.^ So I thought I'd share.

General Conference

You know... one of these days I'll post when I'm not so tired... >.O

But anyway, I've been meaning to post about this.

I got to go to conference in Utah!! ^.^ And I got into the Sunday morning session too!

That's right, envy me. ^.~

Ok... now for thoes of you you have no idea what in the world I'm talking about...

Ok, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as Mormons. And we have a general conference for all of the members around the world that's held twice a year. The prophet and several other awesome people talk to us and tell us stuff. It's really cool. Well, this happens in Utah. And this year I got to go up with a few of my friends. ^.^ It was really awesome seeing it live.

Plus we got to walk around Temple Square (where it is) and get some awesome pictures of the Salt Lake temple too. ^.^

Yes, that's right, I took the pic. ^.^ There's a Josoph Smith Memorial building next door, and if you go up stairs you can get some awesome airial shots. ^.^ Very cool.

We also got to go into the old conference center. (below) That was really cool too.

It was a very fun trip. ^.^

Oh, and hey. If you want full versions of these pics, or the rest of the pics I took, email me. ^.^ I'm more then happy to share. ^.^

Of corse, that means you have to know me... So bwaahaaa! ^.~
